Who said Texas is flat? John pushes up the fourth such climb in one day.

Bill rides out of Brackettville on March 22. The beautiful stone buildings on the right are deserted and beginning to fall down.

Matt and Peter, of South Carolina, headed west. Everyone has been friendly, they said. We passed near Sisterdale, TX.

Molly and Marshall, of North Carolina, visited us at campsite in Blanco State Park. They are spending a week ridng their recumbents in the Hill Country of Texas.

We caught up with Tim & Ann, of Wisconsin, also headed east. They have bike toured around the world.

Bill, of Cincinnati, headed west. We met him in Louisiana, about five miles from the Texas border. He started in Georgia and was planning to visit family in Houston before heading on.
